Track and Field

The Tennessee Heat Track and Field team is an excellent way to develop fitness and character. We hope you will consider joining us to run, jump, and throw to the GLORY OF GOD! We take seriously the key training factors including: physical conditioning, community/friendships, and spiritual growth.

Our program consists of high school, middle school and elementary teams for boys and girls, 1st-12th grade. 

Preseason conditioning workouts are available and highly recommended. We focus on improving conditioning, form, strength and speed with proven training methods. Preseason workouts begin in the Fall and last through the end of January. Regular season workouts begin early February and last through mid May.

Workouts are Monday/Tuesday/Thursdays at Wilson Central H.S. from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. 

Meets are early March-early May. We compete against other homeschool and public school teams in the middle Tennessee area, like Wilson Central, Green Hill, Donelson Christian, Mt. Juliet High School, Lipscomb Academy, Siegel High School, Springfield, and others.

Head coaches and assistant coaches are background-checked volunteers. Every coach undergoes training on concussion and cardiac arrest and is CPR-certified.
