Volleyball

Our program consists of middle school and high school volleyball teams (grades 6-12). Older 5th graders may be considered for the middle school team.

Tryouts and team selections occur in May. Practices are during the summer with regular season play beginning in August and concluding in October.

Practices are generally in the Wilson County area in various gymnasiums (primarily at First Baptist Lebanon). Games are in Middle TN with occasional travel to regional games for conference and tournament play.

Team fees vary depending on age group and covers a variety of expenses including:

• Uniforms and travel gear
• Referees
• Gym rentals
• Team-building activities
• Team registration fees for tournaments

We are a volunteer-run organization. Each Heat family is expected to volunteer throughout the season, assisting with various tasks such as game clock, concessions, admissions, setup/cleanup of facilities, or filming/photography.

Head coaches and assistant coaches are background-checked volunteers. Every coach undergoes training on concussion and cardiac arrest and is CPR-certified.
